    I would say Lashley yeah... he took some abuse in that fight though more then he has since.

    I think he really started to throw fights though as soon a he stopped getting the big money in Japan from Dream and K1

    Yes he basically said in an interview about a year ago that if they pay him really big money, then he will fight for real. Otherwise, he will continue to drop fights.

    If memory serves me correctly he told Ariel Helwani he usually makes around $35,000 (about £22,000) per fight.

    Turns out a guys dignity doesn't cost a whole lot.

    On the upside, he's gotta be the only guy to have a loss on his record due to back control.

    sapp never could take a shot like someone of his size should be able to. but damnit he used to at least try. i always thought that 6 intense months of training judo would have made a killer out of him.

    im not excusing the idea of throwing fights, but i think thats an adequate price for my dignity. why arent people calling me? hell i would fight like mad and get my ass handed to me for 35 grand.
