I agree there are those moments, but man that should have been over with his loss in TUF.
You cant keep feeding the kid cans and expect him to get better. he is in the show now!

OH, and for the record i was a 4 year starter. (yes even as a freshman) so i know all abou jitters and that stuff too.
Only a fool wouldn't seize an opportunity to fight in the UFC. If you were a programmer fresh out of college and got an offer to work for Microsoft making good money tell me you wouldn't take it. That is credentials you can put on your resume that is money that is experience gained.

When opportunity knocks you take it and do everything in your power to seize the moment.

it is not uncommon for fighters in smaller orgs to not accept ufc contracts because they are not ready.

This guy is starting to go the way of Marcus Jones, a Heavyweight that I believe could have been a monster if he had the right mindset. His wrestling and JJ was pretty impressive not just for a HW and he was a hard puncher who hurt guys in the gym. Problem was that he could not translate the Gym to the cage. Hall can do that, but I think his time is running out. His back's against the wall and I don't know if he has what it takes to hit the home run. Such a waste.......

If I were to be completely realistic in my films, you would call me a violent, bloody man. I would simply destroy my opponent by tearing his guts out. I wouldn't do it so artistically." ~Bruce Lee

Really? Because all I heard during the show is "that guy is a fighter!" Interesting how a couple losses change everything apparently.

    i dont disagree RD.
But once you get there you gotta deliver.
If you get to microsoft and they find out u can only program kiddie porn you arent much good to their office division and you're soon out on your ass.
He made and it and the opportunity you mentioned.. He didnt seize it. He gave it away with a smile.
If he came in and was laying it all out there and going balls to the wall, then yes i totally agree.
    Thats why its different.

I don't think Hall should feel ashamed if he gets sent back to the regional shows to compete and build up his confidence.

He has some natural ability and would likely need to hone those skills to be more successful. A few wins somewhere like MFC or similar where he faced mid-tier MW's like Spratt, Sell, Scott Smith, etc. would do wonders for his confidence and I think he'd be ready for a return to fighting against the top of the sport.

Ofcourse not but fighting in the UFC is a privlidge not a gurantee due to success. This is why we see guys like Roger Gracie making it to the UFC instead of King Mo.

They aren't cutting him. They devoted an entire show to sucking his dick. His next fight will be in the UFC, and it will be the biggest tailor made fight in UFC history. I wouldn't be surprised if they are currently genetically engineering a fighter who doesn't know how to block a strike, and is violently allergic to high fives.

I couldn't get the image of Microsoft hiring pedophiles out of my head. Who makes a living programming kiddy porn?! Is that even a thing?
