Doesnt make much sense but makes dollars. UFC is about dollars.

It will be a fun fight and UFC will market the shit outta it and the TUF season.

Glad to see BJ back but I think 145 is a big mistake for him.

I wasn't sure that BJ was motivated to get to 155 lbs, so hearing about the drop down to FW was the real shocker for me. I'm not sure how to read this. Does BJ's acceptance to cut weight represent a sincere effort to maximize whatever potential he has left, or rather is this a desperate gamble?? I can't call it.

Edgar looks like a marginally faster version of himself at 145... and Penn has said numerous times that he hated the weight cut to 155.

If Marv Marinovich is involved in the training camp, I'll be onboard. Other than that? BJ is too much of an unknown quantity at this point...

But what if... WHAT IF!!! he beat Edgar, got a title shot because he's BJ fucking Penn and beat Aldo somehow? That'd be a great year for me.

If we see BJ Penn as a FW Champ, I'll break off a dick and suck it at both ends...

Holy cow, this came out of nowhere lol. A lot of you guys may not like it, but I am actually pretty stoked for it. I hate when they choose champions to coach tuf and delay the belt for half a year. Frankie is definitely the favorite, but if BJ is serious about making a comeback, the lower the weight class the better. It may be a little delusional, but I would love to see BJ come to 145 as a beast and make waves.. ok it is pretty far fetched, but a guy can hope.

In before someone puts motivated and BJ Penn in the same sentence for the 895,594,333,392,111,993,584,382nd time.

    Oh wait...

And this is also the dumbest thing I've heard in awhile.

    Is this a joke???

This will be one of the most senseless fights in MMA history.
Not only brazilians can do this stuff
