Boetsch can't catch a break. He'll end up blind by the next fight.

I guess that gives the UFC time to run another round of HW fights and figure out who the next challenger will be. That is unless Werdum wants to sit out and hope he holds onto his lightly floated #1 spot.

He has said he wants to wait. It makes sense that he does. There isn't much left in HW after him.

    1 Junior Dos Santos
    2 Daniel Cormier
    3 Fabricio Werdum
    4 Antonio Silva
    5 Travis Browne
    6 Josh Barnett
    7 Alistair Overeem
    8 Frank Mir
    9 Stipe Miocic
    10 Roy Nelson

Barnett is the only guy there that I would like to see in the near future.

Wow, the HW division sucks so bad.

You've got Werdum up next. Then the Barnett/Browne winner? Then who? Maybe Stiopic or Mark Hunt? Then who? JDS again?

Outlook is not good for big ticket Heavyweight fights in the foreseeable future. Good news for Cain though - the new record for HW title defenses is one win away

It's more an issue of Cain's superiority at this point. Take him out of the picture and there are some good match-ups, but yeah, the title contender outlook isn't too strong.
