Default Kron Gracie transitioning to MMA

    http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/news...ioning-to-MMA/

Anytime a world class grappler transitions to MMA there is always the question of whether or not they can apply their style to a fight and deal with getting hit. The Gracie Family has a long history of it's jiu-jitsu fighters transitioning to MMA, but none more impressive than Kron Gracie. Kron is by far the most credentialed and medaled Gracie and it will be exciting to see if he can make the transition to MMA:

I'm not competing the expo because my opponent @rodolfovieirajj got hurt ... So now I'm taking a break from Jiujitsu tournaments and focus all my energy on MMA! I've been waiting my whole life for this transition ... And I can't wait to test myself on the highest level!! Special thanks to @natediaz209 @nickdiaz209 @jakeshields @gilbertmelendez @ricksongraciejj @jeanjacquesmachado

he does have a good team around him but if the Gracie Family does not start to do much better as a whole i wonder if will they tarnish their rep

They haven't in my mind, but that's because I only look at them as great BJJ practitioners who lack the stand up and all around skill set to compete at the highest levels of MMA.

ANY armless, epileptic blind person can strike better than ANY Gracie.

Gracies aren't good MMA fighters anymore.

I've always liked Kron but he seems to really have turned it up to the next level. What he did at the ADCC this past weekend was amazing, he submitted everyone and that guillotine in the finals was one of the sickest I've seen.

Dude better work on gettin' some legit wrasslin' skillz, or he'll be getting decimated on the feet.
