Default Erick Silva calls out Demian Maia, offers him 'bad ground game' and 'terrible takedow

    http://www.mmamania.com/2013/10/31/5...round-game-mma

"Indio" blasted out a tweet earlier today (translated by Guillermo Cruz) promising the jiu-jitsu master an easy fight. After all, how hard would it be for an Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) champion to submit a guy with a bad ground game and terrible takedown defense?

Demian, what do you think of getting back to the wins vs. a guy with a bad ground game and terrible takedown defense like me?

Cue Admiral Ackbar: It's a trap!

Ok, here's some bad MMA math for you. Fitch beat Silva but Maia beat Fitch doing pretty much the same thing Fitch did to Silva. Ergo, Maia does the same thing that he did to Fitch, and Fitch did to Silva. Most of the time MMA math is bullshit but I really feel like it adds up here.

A Brazilian calling out another well known Brazilian, and does so in a trolling manner that has to do with BJJ...

    Interesting.

Dont be so hard on Silva. He just lost to the best wrestler in MMA, and Maia just lost against bunny hands. I pick Silva in this one...

I think some of the shine has come off of the Erick Silva train and his stock has dropped quite a bit. I don't think they give him Maia right now and think they look to rebound Maia with a free main event against Kampmann.

I'm thinking they run Silva/Gunnar Nelson.
