Perhaps their emotional response was different from yours, that does not make them fucktards.

If Chandler and Alvarez's 3rd fight is anything like the first two fights, it is easily the greatest trilogy in MMA history, period! This is in terms of the actual fight itself and not in terms of the importance in the landscape of the division. In terms of importance, Fedor/Nog and Liddell/Couture would be the two biggest.

Does anyone know who the striking coaches are at Alliance MMA? Vera maybe?

I just don't get how a coach would let him carry his hands so low against someone who likely wasn't going to shoot a takedown other than out of opportunity or desparation.

I was actually thinking something very similar to this. I think it has more to do with his explosive power then anything else, when he landed that flying knee it was lightning fast and Eddie did not see that coming at all cause his hands were low to begin with.

GSP/Hughes is a bigger trilogy than Liddell/Couture IMO. When we look back five years from now, JDS/Cain will be considered a bigger trilogy as well. Just my opinion.

I agree, but don't you think he would be an absolute nightmare for Alvarez if he carried his hands higher and tightened up his punching?? (As if he wasn't already a nightmare for anyone)

It would be interesting to hear from some judges if they took a fighter keeping their hands down in consideration for scoring. What comes to mind is in the instance of fatigue.
You have to know what you don't know.
