Thread: What mediocre fighter put together the best string of wins?

  1. Default What mediocre fighter put together the best string of wins?

I was thinking about Matt Brown and his current run and I thought this would be a fun discussion. Some that come to mind...

    Matt Brown (6-0 - 5 finishes - 2 fight night bonuses)
    Mark Hunt (4-0 - 3 finishes - 3 fight night bonuses)
    Chris Lytle (5-1 - 3 finishes - 5 fight night bonuses)

G spot 7 wins, 5 finished, 2 fights of the night.

On another note, I still can't believe people thought Lytle was HOF worthy.

That's what makes his streak so impressive. Forrest Griffin was the poster boy for overachieving mediocre fighters.

Good picks. I didn't think of Alves as mediocre but now that I think of it.
