    The position sucks ass and is every bit as bad as you said it is.

    Sonnen was not going to get out of it once Rashad gained the full mount.

    Those shots from the back were hard and dangerous. As a (once upon a time) fighter I can tell you that tapping to strikes is considered a bitch move, but tapping to strikes when in that helpless position is very understandable and acceptable (to a trainer etc...).

    Well technically Shogun didn't tap to strikes because the fight was already over when he tapped haha. But I agree with you, personally I would probably be too stuborn to ever tap to strikes but is by no means a bitch move.

    If Munoz would've tapped to strikes against Weidman he probably would've avoided being so badly injured.
