He doesn't have to make a big deal about it, but at least give it the attention he gave the initial statement.

Seemingly, the family does not care as much about that tweet as you do.

He made a mistake and could have deleted the tweet now, but it really does not change the fact that SDR is still alive. MMAFighting and every other news site has corrected the situation.

What's important is that SDR is alive not what a few of Dana White's twatter followers might think if they do not continue to read up on the news.

He did nothing wrong here.
no just a simple tweet would do.

as always, you're welcome to your opinion.
as usual, I disagree with it.

I don't feel like anyone is equipped to judge how the family or close friends are feeling, simply in the absence of any statements.

I think that would have been respectful.

All manner of men came to work for the News: everything from wild young Turks who wanted to rip the world in half and start all over again -- to tired, beer-bellied old hacks who wanted nothing more than to live out their days in peace before a bunch of lunatics ripped the world in half.

wait....did you just say Genki Sudo unretired?

I imagine the family is keeping everything to themselves given how the initial news was handed with premature "RIP" tweets and the like.

read online today that SDR has officially passed away. BJ Penn.com reporting it...not sure if this is another case of bad journalism or what have you but if it is indeed true RIP Shane.
