Team Canada has a slight experience edge over their Australian counterparts.

Both Taleb and Johnson train out of Montreal's famed TriStar gym, home to UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre. However, only seven of the eventual eight fighters on Team Canada have been announced thus far.

TUF Nations debuts on Wednesday, January 15 in the same time slot the recently completed TUF 18 also aired in. The upcoming season marks the first time a TUF show featuring no Americans in the cast has aired on a major cable television platform in the United States (other than the relatively low-penetration FUEL TV, which aired TUF Brazil).
