Here is another question, at what price would everyone in here give up streaming and buy every event?

If I had cable, I'd buy more often then going out to watch them. When you go to a bar and watch an MMA fight, all of a sudden every drunk wannabe tough guy instantly becomes a fighter. Shit is so annoying. This month's fight card, I would have no problem dropping $60 on it. Personally, I think $20 - $30 per card would generate way more buys. But I seriously doubt that price would generate more buys to offset the reduced rate.

It all depends on the card. I buy probably 8/10 ppvs even though I have access to a decent stream. I just prefer the higher res and the ability to pause/rewind/record. That being said I have no interest in buying UFC 168. I only want to see the main event and thats not worth the price. I expect Rhonda to do what she always does, and I expect Josh to manhandle Browne. The other fights are ok but not really floating my boat.

For the record, here in Canada, Bell charged me $65 for UFC 167 in HD...

Oh, and if they lowered the price to about $30 I'd buy every card no matter what. At least at that price point, id still be willing to risk it if the card didnt interest me because sometimes thise ones end up being pretty good.

if it was $30 i would consider buying them, but with that said when there is 55 events next year and out of those 55 events lets say half are PPV your looking at 660 dollars a year on fights if it was 30 dollars. at 60 dollars a ppv (assuming it stays this way) the UFC is expecting the average person so shell out 1,320 dollars on UFC fights ontop of their monthly satellite or cable bill. its unrealistic to think the average person can afford that.
