All manner of men came to work for the News: everything from wild young Turks who wanted to rip the world in half and start all over again -- to tired, beer-bellied old hacks who wanted nothing more than to live out their days in peace before a bunch of lunatics ripped the world in half.

I feel like the HW division has huge gaps in its talent levels at the moment. Cain is obviously on another level then JDS, and JDS is in another level then the rest of the HW division, with everyone else trying to avoid JDS to get a title fight only to get beaten up by the champion. Browne beating a hot and cold fight in Gonzaga, then to beat an aging Barnett with questionable elbows(second time he has done that) and his win over a roided-down AO should be viewed as what they are, not wins that show he can hang with the top 2 guys.
Browne is a talented guy but he's not top 5 material imo. He was getting hammered by Overeem before he gassed. The Gonzaga elbows and Barnett elbows were questionable too.
Cain blows through anyone in the division easily right now. Anyone. Just like Jones, Hendricks, Weidman, I think UFC has some long term champions right now, with the exception of the LW belt. Too many strong competitors right now to have just one dominant guy.
The one question mark for Weidman would be Vitor, Vitor is very aggressive and that could mean a lot of trouble for him given Vitor's speed and KO power, subs, etc. Machida is a possible problem for Chris also, but I would put Vitor as the guy to beat Chris.

Browne vs Werdum is a dangerous fight for Browne but if he manages to keep it on the feet and avoid Werdum's ground game, he might have a good chance.
As good as Browne looked the other night, Barnett made just as many mistakes. I am not sure if Barnett was just too over confident, under estimated Browne's skills or just had a shitty night. I never expected to see him finish Josh in the fashion he did.
Browne will have a year or so before a title shot, as long as he keeps on putting in work, he might make it a semi competitive fight against Cain.
