That really stinks. While I think we're still in for a great fight with Faber, I was looking forward to seeing Cruz back in action and taking on Barao.

It also stinks for Barao who had a chance to unify the titles. Even as the undisputed champion, he'll still have it hanging over his head that Cruz was ever beaten for the title. I hope Cruz makes it back at some point in the not so distant future and they have have the initially intended match, if Barao goes 2-0 over Faber.

Really sucks for Dominick. But the show must go on, and I'm very interested in seeing Faber vs Barao 2. Not sure if the result will be any different, but Faber's confidence must be sky high after recent performances.

If anything this will work in Faber's favor. He looked as good as ever in his last fight, while Barao looked meh until the duck into foot. Not to mention Barao has been training to take on a very unique opponent in Cruz, very different from Faber's style. I'm hoping he can pull off the upset.

I hope Faber gets the job done.

Otherwise....best fighter in UFC history to not win a UFC title?
