Dana White: Renan Barao is the P4P champ, if he beats Faber

UFC president Dana White addressed the issue following UFN 35.

"If Barao goes out and stops Faber, he's probably the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world," said White.

Barao has not lost since his very first fight in 2005.

What the heck does Aldo need to do to get some respect from Dana?

Stay healthy so he can fight more often. He's had 3 fights in 2 years

Everyone needs to remember that they now need to build the brand of Barao. If Cruz didnt vacate there would never hear comments like this made. Aldo has been there and done that, people with any knowledge of mma know hes basically P4P champ now...same cant be said about Barao

Whatcha gonna do Brother, when the New World Order destroys you?

I still think the stoppage over Weinland was early.

Barao has never even been in a close fight. Aldo and now Jones have had some close ones so I can understand the logic here.

I would venture to say Aldo has faced the tougher competition. And beaten a former champ in a weight class above him.

i remember Dana saying if two title fights are on the same fight card the heavier weight class will be the main event, yet aldo vs lamas is co main event...
