    This^

The Bader thing was a joke. More of a dig at Jones for saying Texeira isn't ready for a title shot but when offered the Gus rematch he said Tex is ready for his shot lol.

He landed what, 1, maybe 2 shots while on the ground? Jimi wasnt out, he wasnt turtling. In your opinion what would Jimi have to do for it not to have been stopped there? I was fully expecting Alex to win this fight, im just so tired of fights not having a definitive end. Im all for fighter safety, but they know what they're getting into when they step inside the cage and id rather see one shot too many than a fight ended without really knowing who the better fighter is.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, and thats fine. All I know is ive gone from buying every ppv from around 2005-2011 to now refusing to buy anything because ive become jaded with whats been happening the last 2 or so years.

Not a bad card. Disappointed by Pickett and Guillard, both didn't look themselves. Guillard simply doesn't fight like he's hungry any more.

The Gus/Manuwa stoppage seemed spot on imo, it seemed like the beginning of the end and anything else would have been prolonging the inevitable.

Really impressed by the new broadcast team; There's obvious room for improvement in Hardy's interview technique, but the play-by-play/colour commentary was excellent. John Gooden's knowledge is clearly better than Goldberg's, as he was picking up on jiu-jitsu opportunities in addition to his excellent analysis of striking tactics/techniques.

Favourite Fighters: A. Silva, Velasquez, Swanson, Bisping, W. Silva, Barnett, Faber, Dos Santos, Manuwa, McCall, Pickett & Poirier
Least-Favourite Fighters: Story, Sylvia, Browne & Lentz

    0-1 on sig bets.

I also think that the stoppage was spot on.

It was an interesting fight. I thought as soon as Gus got the take down, he would do more damage or advance position and it surprised me that he was unable to. I was then surprised as to how Gus just exploded with punches and finished the way he did. I didn't see that coming with the way that the striking exchanges were going whenever they were on the feet.

Other notes: always enjoy watching Gunnar's ground work; Pickett didn't seem like his normal self; good to see Johnson get the win although I didn't like Guillard's gameplan; and sad to see Diabate go out like that

Those one or two shots were massive full force Hammer fists, and you can say he wasn't turtling, well, he wasn't doing ANYTHING to intelligently defend himself. Aimlessly grabbing for Gus just opened himself up to further punishment. Jimi pretty much collapsed shortly after the ref was on him. If you don't think Gus definitely ended the fight and showed he was the better fighter, then I don't know what else there is for you. Sorry the sport isn't in the business of actively giving people needless brain damage.
