I think Hendo's worst effect of his advanced MMA age is how he slowed down and the fact that he is so one dimensional now (and his wrestling hasn't been there for years). His chin...well, a lot of guys might have been out cold from those two shots he took from Shogun so I wouldn't say his chin is gone. Shogun packed a wollup and Hendo, while close to being done, hung in there. Shogun did look pretty good till he got blasted. I don't think either guy needs to retire but it's not a bad idea either. I don't see them competing with many of the younger guys ranked above them but you never know when that shot could land.

Are you just trolling? You realize these guys have tiny little gloves on their hands. Both are legends of this sport. No shame in putting on a good fight.

no im serious. How many times have you read "both these guys need to retire" in this thread alone - yet after the Te Huna fight all i read was "Shoguns back!!" I believe someone even had a gif of the Shogun KO saying that exact same thing as well forget the screen name though.

It shows how quick mma fans jump on and off the bandwagon. Just wait, the UFC will give shogun another fighter outside of the top 10 for him to KO and he will be "back" again....Lets be honest Shogun loses to pretty much the entire top 10 minus Bader.

Not my point. Everyone knows Shoguns best years are behind him. He is still game and could give anyone problems if he is at his best (which is well behind the shogun of 2006). Shogun is a mma legend and every time he wins, whether it be to tj huna or whoever, people will get excited.

He is still back. Saying someone is back is not saying they will never lose another fight. Shogun looked better last night than he did in his last few fights before the te huna one including fights like vera which he won in ugly fashion.

In my opinion he was clearly dominating the fight up until the points he made a stupid mistake and Hendo capitalized by landing his signature H bomb which is arguably the most lethal right hook the sport has ever seen.
