UFC reportedly targeting Rory MacDonald vs. Tyron Woodley for UFC 174
A potential number one contender (or whatever you want to call it) match-up is in the works for the UFC's first visit to Canada this year. While not yet finalized, a welterweight meeting between Rory MacDonald and Tyron Woodley is planned for UFC 174. MMA Junkie's Steven Marocco first had the scoop:

UFC also wants Rory MacDonald vs. Tyron Woodley for UFC 174.

Awesome fight. Really don't know who is going to win. Looking forward to it.

I honestly believe if Lawler can do as he did, against Rory, then Woodley should be able to stuff a few takedown's and close the distance. I honestly think Woodley has a very good chance to win this fight against Rory.

I'll definitely take Woodley over Rory but hope he smashes him, not just squeaks a decision.

Woodley isn't very technical but he's shown to get the timing down to land those heavy ass overhands on ppl. And he's a bit faster than Robbie imo.

    Where does this leave Lombard?

All manner of men came to work for the News: everything from wild young Turks who wanted to rip the world in half and start all over again -- to tired, beer-bellied old hacks who wanted nothing more than to live out their days in peace before a bunch of lunatics ripped the world in half.

wait....did you just say Genki Sudo unretired?

I would think either with Lawler or Stun Gun, even though Kim's ranked lower at the moment.

Edit: Or he waits for the Saffiedine/Ellenberger winner.

Thought Rory had a off night in that fight but after Lawler vs Johny I'm not so sure lol
