Michael Bisping: Ranger Up has a hard-on for me, uses my limelight to 'sell its shitty t-shirts'
Considering the ugly circumstances in which the "Bisping vs. Rivera" fight ended (more on that here), it should come as no surprise to learn that Ranger Up has unleashed a new offensive against the British banger, who will throw down against former Green Beret Tim Kennedy next month on FOX Sports 1 (details).

See its latest comedic offering here.

As expected, "The Count" was not amused by the "I Am" video spoof, and doesn't appreciate the fact that Ranger Up is trying to piggyback on his stardom to try to "sell a few shitty t-shirts and jeans," less than three weeks out from The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): "Nations" live finale.

From his conversation with FOX Sports:

"If you look at their Instagram account, they have a picture everyday with my face. A stupid pose or something, meant to be funny and they have the hash tag #MeatBiscuit, which I just don't understand at all... They do seem to have a hard on for me. There's the fact that their product is obviously so s--t that they have to latch onto me, a fighter that's got nothing to do with their company, but they've got to latch onto me and take a bit of my star, a bit of my limelight without sounding like an asshole, to try and sell a few of their shitty t-shirts and jeans. I mean if you are bored enough like I am sometimes, you can go on their website and look at their clothing and holy shit, no wonder they're trying to use me to sell some of it, because I don't know who in their right mind would buy any of that shit. It's just fucking awful."

I feel like I'm about to piss a whole lot of people off...

    But I LIKE Bisping.
I think the guy is a legit contender at 185 and a very skilled fighter.

And I think Kennedy has talked his way into a fight that, quite frankly, I don't see HOW he can win.

Bisping is gonna take this one, and fairly easily in my opinion.

Bisping is ranked 5th in the UFC's ranking, and it is incredibly well known that they really want him to succeed, so that ranking is probably a little inflated. Bisping is 2-2 in his last 4. Tim Kennedy is ranked 8th under the UFC's rankings, and besides the fight for the troops, he has gotten no major exposure. Kennedy is 3-1 in his last 4, and is on a 3 fight win streak. Kennedy didn't talk his way into anything. In reality, this is the kind of guy Bisping should be fighting more often, rather than giving him 2-3 fights where he is the huge favorite, and then watching the UFC pray that he can finally win against a legit challenger, so they can give him a title shot. Their strategy may be that Kennedy is legit enough that if Bisping wins then they can skip the other build up fights, and put him in a title eliminator. If he wins, it'll be a race between him and Rogan to declare himself the #1 contender.

That's a funny video right there. Also, Kennedy is going to beat Bisping.

Beating Belcher and Stann was good enough for me to solidify Bisping in the top 7. He keeps failing when it comes to getting a title shot but that doesn't mean he isn't a good fighter. I still pick him to win against Kennedy which will only solidify his position.

To me, he's like Koscheck, who was always close to getting a title shot but then failed. Koscheck only got one because GSP ran through the whole division that it only came down to Koscheck and Daley (who was tailor-made for Koscheck).

I think Bisping and Kennedy should have about the same ranking. I wasn't so much insulting Bisping, who I think is a tool, as saying he isn't above Kennedy, and Kennedy didn't need to talk his way into anything.
