Bisping: I deserve title shot with good win over Kennedy
Meanwhile six months ago he was saying how insignificant of an opponent Kennedy was and not worth his time. Now he think a win over him should lead to a title shot.

Does beating Kennedy warrant a title shot? Not really. But if the UFC wants Michael in the title picture, I would think he would get put there with a win over a top 10 guy. Michael keeps getting close and then losing. So if he beats Kennedy, it shouldn't warrant a title shot, but he may just get it.

Bisping getting a title shot would be good if Weidman beats Machida because that would be another big name known to casuals that Weidman would beat and truning him into a star. I don't know if he will beat Machida but whoever wins that fight would most definitely beat Bisping.

Less deserving fighter have gotten title shots. I don't think Bisping can get to the title shot on his own and would need the UFC's help meaning getting the title shot after beating a lower ranked fighter to get it.

Bisping vs Machida or Bisping vs Weidman in the UK sells huge. But Bisping isn't beating either of them.

Bisping: I'm excited to f*ck this idiot up
"I'm excited to get in there and just f--k this idiot up, honestly," Bisping told FOX Sports on Monday from Quebec. "He thinks that he's played mind games and he things that he really got the upper hand. I'm a pretty intense individual and all he's done is made me more and more intense. I'm more in the zone if you will. He's going to pay the price on Wednesday night."

Tim Kennedy ‘disappointed’ in Bisping’s trash-talk ahead of TUF Nations Finale
“It has been a one-sided campaign of talking crap because he sucks so bad,” Kennedy told MMAjunkie. “Apparently he’s the best at it. Him and Chael Sonnen are supposedly the one’s who can talk the most smack, but obviously not because he can’t hang at all with what I’ve been doing the past six weeks.

“I’m fairly disappointed in the allure of Michael Bisping’s crap-talking. He still has a couple days, so hopefully he has an ace up his sleeve. If not, I’ll be disappointed.”

The back-and-forth between the two middleweight contenders has encompassed all forms of social media, from Twitter to Instagram to Youtube.

Both have dug into each other on a personal level, and while Kennedy thinks Bisping’s talking is a way to play mind games, the former Army Ranger said he won’t be shaken when the time comes to share the octagon with his rival.

“I fight emotionless,” Kennedy said. “When we’re in the cage, I’m going to do what I’m supposed to do. I’m sure he hopes I’m going to get a little crazy. I’m going to hit hard, always look for the takedown and always look for the submission. If he doesn’t keep his chin down, he’ll be waking up shooting a double on whoever the ref is.”

While Kennedy clearly has little respect for Bisping as a person, he admits his thoughts on “The Count” as a fighter differ greatly. Sure, Kennedy has made numerous claims that Bisping is a dirty competitor, but when it comes to his actual skills, the Greg Jackson-trained fighter holds his English foe in high regard.

“Michael Bisping is a very good fighter,” Kennedy said. “He’s been top five for like five years. Look at the guys he’s beat, the guys he’s lost to. He’s beaten really good guys, and he’s lost to just the very best.”

While many fighter conflicts in the MMA world are manufactured to raise interest, Kennedy said that’s far from the case in this situation. And regardless of how the fight plays out, he won’t look to be sharing a cold beer with Bisping anytime soon.

“I don’t ever see Michael and I being friends,” Kennedy said. “I’m just not going to be hanging out with him. We’re different people, different lives. He mocks everything about who I am as a person. All the things I stand for: serving my country, my family. These are priorities in my life as who I am. We’re never going to be friends.”

I really hop Tim finishes this fight but a see Bisbing yet again beating a guy he's supposed to.
I really believe that people like Bill Murray or John Belushi are just as great and just as valid as Robert De Niro or Al Pacino. And I don't think you can say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is a better movie than Animal House (1978); they're different genres. I think they're both examples of great craftsmanship.

Michael Bisping has to be the only top ten fighter who only has one win over currently active UFC fighters! (Dan Miller - And I am not sure if he is even active any more)
