Default Fedor: "I wanted to fight in Kiev, but Putin did not allowed me"

    http://valetudo.ru/mma/news/6067-ole...tsa-i-pobejdat

"I wanted to do a MMA fight with Oleg Raevski in Kiev. Ukrainian people are now going through a very tough time so I thought that watching me fight once again would bring them at least a little bit of joy.
I spoke about that with Mickhail Berezovsky (Fedor's manager. For those who are not aware, Fedor and Vadim parted ways earlier this year) and he was OK with the idea.
I spoke about that with Vladimir Vladimirovich (Putin) but he told me that it was not the right moment to do so.
However he offered me to fight in Crimea later this year.
I am still retired, this is just an exception I am making to help Ukrainian people. I was born there, after all.
Thank God I am in very good condition, I continue training and I feel in very good shape. If it is God's will, all this horrible situation will end very soon"

When asked if he will consider to come out of retirement, Fedor said:

    "It will be God's will"
Not only brazilians can do this stuff

All manner of men came to work for the News: everything from wild young Turks who wanted to rip the world in half and start all over again -- to tired, beer-bellied old hacks who wanted nothing more than to live out their days in peace before a bunch of lunatics ripped the world in half.

I didn't know Fedor was from Ukraine. I wonder what he honestly thinks about the situation over there.

I completely and utterly respect how humble Fedor has always been throughout his career. No excuses, no crap just a truly stand up guy.
"The time is almost upon us.
My centuries of manipulating... of preparing... are reaching their resolution.
With the dawning of the new day, the end times will be upon us... my ascension complete. And you, the twelve -- prophesied saviors of mutantkind... your power will bestow upon me the means to achieve my destiny.
First, I will remake this pathetic orb in my image, and then the stars."

Except for the fact they are on the brink of a civil war right now and he thinks watching him fight will somehow make everyone feel better about their situation. Maybe its simply due to the translation but it comes off sounding a bit arrogant.
