    Nogueira wants Mir, then retirement

After the fight, Nogueira's manager spoke to MMAFighting about his fighter's future plans:

So was that the last time we'll ever see "Big Nog" fight? According to one of his managers Jorge Guimaraes, Nogueira might have other plans.

"Maybe a last fight against Frank Mir to square off and retire," Guimaraes responded moments after the loss when asked if Nogueira will walk away from the sport.

"He mentioned that way before his fight against Roy Nelson was scheduled. He just can't live without avenging these loses."

So one last chance at permanent brain damage before he retires?
The Jets have won more Superbowls than you have.

If he's just gotta have one more fight, I think Mir is the logical choice. I cant say Im interested in this fight, but I definately have no interest in Nog anything past 1 more (at most)

I think they should both retire after that fight.

I have no interest in seeing either of them fight again. Great fighters, deserve the fanbase they've built, and hate to watch them simultaneously decline and put their retirement health further at risk.

If he has to fight these two make the most sense of no sense.
I see it as winner and losser retire.

While I agree with you. Its very hard for most fighter to retire, it what the love to do. It dose not matter if the winning or losing, They love to compete. Also they both keep losing to fighter with in the top 10. I would like to see both of them fight someone just outside of the top 10 to see what happens.
