I don't know man, 2-1 at FW with your one loss being to the #1 guy isn't too bad. Sure it's not exactly a great sample size to say whether or not he'll do great things in the division or not but I still think he could potentially challenge for the title some day. Quite honestly, I think his style gives Aldo a lot of trouble.

I will always like Guida. He's an interesting character. However, he doesn't stand a chance against the greatest fighter of all time. Conor makes a pot of gold out of his skull and sends it to the end of the rainbow. Done. End of story.

I can see where people find him exciting, but I am worried he's going for a more conservative style that's limiting the submissions he pursues. And his standup has never been great, his ground strikes seem to be fairly ineffective, so if you take out submissions, I'm just not super excited.

The way I read that, it was more bumping his chest, calling himself a real man. I'm not sure it was directed at Cole Miller so much as it was Clay saying that he's better than Connor's past competition.

I used to be a big fan, but after he changed his whole game after the florian fight I'm pretty much in the same frame of mind as you are about him.

I don't mind him as a person, but I find his fights to be as interesting as sitting on my deck watching a yellow jacket buzz around my drink. There is a lot of activity, but no real threat.

No. I got your point. I just think it's ridiculous.

You DON'T like the inconsistency. You don't like that, on the one hand, you use the "N" word and everyone is in an UPROAR... while people are free to call Irish folks "leprechauns" or West Virginians "red necks".

I GET your point. I just don't get why you want to go FURTHER in that direction?!?
You are arguing that you want to ADD to that stupidity... and make it NOT okay to say anything about anyone.

And I am arguing that people need to stop being such pussies, and go the OPPOSITE direction. So that instead of limiting words, we simply use them IN CONTEXT and appropriately.

That means no double standard of treating the "N" word like it's taboo... then throwing it around in every hip hop song ever made.

But it also means no more "adding to the pile".

Which seems to be what you are advocating? No more Red Neck or Trailer Trash... or, apparently, Leprechaun either.

    I get your point.
I just think you are actually helping to fuel the very thing you dislike.

You obviously don't get the point because I was saying the opposite of what you just said.
