    Please dont call him Fedor.

PS Jones clearly cares and clearly is well aware that he is a dirty fighter.

Regardless of what people say, claiming they will not watch him fight again, his fight with Goose will most likely be the highest earning card of the year, if there is remotely ANY other fights of note on the card. He doesn't need to go out and earn fans, he just needs to go out and stomp guts....preferably with closed fists.
I think we're watching him resolve a post-adolescent identity crisis in a very public way.

I honestly believe the criticism hurts him, and he responded emotionally. And then he either thought better of it or Jackson or someone he looks up to told him to take it down.

I'd also bet he wishes he could fight every fight in Baltimore.

Again, I think Jones is a dirty fighter. But I think he's growing...hopefully he grows up, even as he grows more skilled.

In response to Sak, I never said he cares about the haters, I said he doesn't care about gaining more fans. I think Jones has a dual personality, part of him does want to be loved and then the other part of him loves playing the heel.

And for a lot of you still complaining about him being a dirty fighter, I will give you ONLY the eye pokes.... which result in that open handed/palming technique he uses to keep distance. He pokes the next fighter in the eye and I wouldn't be shocked if a point is deducted right away. Everything else he does in within the rules of UFC therefore NOT dirty. The headbutt to Shoguns abdomen, the viscous elbows he hits people with, the arm crank, the oblique kicks ..... all legal. I know it must suck that he has dominated almost every fighter at 205, but to say he is dirty with those tactics I just mention is a false statement. That would have been like saying Anderson was dirty with all the foot stomps he has done to numerous opponents. They are all perfectly legal and until rules are changed. Not dirty.
Favorite Fights: Jonny Bones Jones, Wandy, Hendo, Cain, Matt Hughes, Melvin.

Most disliked fighters: Michael Bisping, Spankie Edgar, Alistair Overeem, Anderson Silva, Tim Sylvia, Chuck Liddell

For many people, just because something is legal doesn't mean it isn't dirty.

You're also leaving out elbows to the back of the head, forearms across the throat, and a host of other issues, but if you left them out, you clearly don't care about them, and bringing them up won't convince you. But you're statements aren't convincing anyone who thinks he's dirty.

I tried repeatedly to explain that dirty and illegal were in no way synonymous and my face turned blue. I'd contend that they are quite different and that's why dirty players/fighters are so oft-maligned.

2 things..... 1)I have not seen your post/opinion on that so I apologize and 2)I have a feeling peoples opinion on what is dirty in sports, especially MMA is going to differ big time. In my humble opinion, things like foot stomps, oblique kicks or even a fighter trying to hurt an opponent to knock them our are not dirty, just toots within the rules to gain an advantage over another. But of course, to each their own

The point I was making was that he would not have made that video if he did not think he was a dirty fighter. Regardless Jones has proved time and time again to use dirty tactics.

    So...here's a question for the jones-isn't-dirty-at-all crowd:

Was it dirty when Belfort whiffed a headkick at Jones while he was still doing his goofy cage-crawl?

Of course it was dirty. Vitor was roid-raging and had to be shipped off and hidden in Brazil to cover it up.
