  1. Default Titan FC 28 Results: Jason Brilz Keeps Post-UFC Streak Alive

Several UFC veterans fared well at the recent Titan FC 28 on Friday night in Newkirk, Okla.

Jason Brilz needed all three rounds to eke out a split-decision victory over a very tough Raphael Davis, as did Dave “Pee Wee” Herman, who got a unanimous nod for his efforts against Kalib Starnes.

It was another big step for Brilz, who has strung together four consecutive victories since a three-fight skid ended his UFC tenure in 2011.

Titan FC 28 suffered a few injury hits to the initial card, which had been slated for April in Kansas City before moving to May 16 in Oklahoma, but the card still delivered a full slate of highly competitive bouts from the main event down.

The Titan Fighting Championships will crown a new light heavyweight champion.

Vinny Magalhaes and Jason Brilz, initially expected to fight at Titan FC 28, will battle for the vacant 205-pound championship later this year, the Brazilian confirmed to MMAFighting.com on Monday.

"There’s no date yet," he said, "but I believe it’s going to be on July or August."

Why in the world was Dave Herman fighting Kalib Starnes? That is an incredible weight difference. Also sad to see Alvin Robinson lose, I enjoy watching him fight.

HOSS-Bork, you should spend more time brushing up on your MMA history, and less time complementing guys on how young their penises taste.
