Hendo at 185 could be very dangerous, I don't think there are many middleweights that can man handle him like that. I say he deserves another shot as a middleweight.
He definitely looked tiny last night. I wouldn't mind seeing him retire ore take one or two more fights at MW, but he has no business fighting at LHW.

He'd be sitting out way too long imo. They're targeting Jones vs Gus 2 for 177 in Aug and Jones still hasn't even agreed to the fight according to Dana.

mmm he said hes fought 5 times in the last 15 months so he wouldn't mind taking a little break... keeping in shape until August and hopefully barring injury a 3 month fight camp is pretty standard so December wouldn't be unreasonable

I finally just got to actually watch Dillashaw/Barao, Cormier/Hendo, and Lawler/Ellenberger.

I can't express how impressed I am with each of the winners, let alone Dillashaw. I think I could have almost cried tears of excitement at how great Dillashaw was. That was one of the best performances I've ever watched. Cormier also dominated in such a way that I couldn't believe. He made HENDO look like nothing at all. It was very bittersweet. And Robbie is god damn stud. I could watch him throw combos and laugh about it like porn.

Look at the Gus v Jones gif someone has on here. When he sees Gus react to a poke he rushes in lol but yea they're accidental.

Anyway I wanna see Cormier fight a top 5 . I think the Calvacante fight could have been more competitive than Hendo. Hendo just isn't the same guy he was even 2 or 3 years ago.
2-3 pokes per fight? I would like to see some stats back that up.

You'd have to go back and watch every fight, but I don't think that's crazy just given the GIFs we've seen lately. The more audacious claim, to me, is that Calvacante is anything close to the same guy he once was or is a bigger threat than Hendo.

Yes, given the gifs you've seen lately, including that savage one on Rampage. Lmfao. If anyone thinks Jones has won any of his fights because of an eye-poke, they are seriously stupid.

Didn't say he was a bigger threat but that that fight could have been more competitive. Hendo is old, slow, and just head hunting. Calvacante isn't a wrester but he's still a young strong and hungry fighter.

Hendo needs to move to 185 or retire.

December is a pretty optimistic projection. After the last Gus/Jones fight it was 5 and 1/2 months before Gus fought and 7 before Jones thought.

true... but ya I am an optimist =/.. I didn't even factor in the Jones not really wanting to fight DC and drag it out more... DC is 35 and isn't getting younger so he shouldn't be on the shelf too long but could lose the title shot with a loss so idk even though he is confident in his skill (why shouldn't he be?? I buy into the fact hes the best in the world)
