I'm excited to see this, but I wish Nick would of waited and took a fight or 2 before he tried Silva on. Hope he's ready and 100% committed to training and getting back in the mix, not just looking to get paid and go home.

I think this will be a much better fight than some of you are giving Nick credit for

There is no way Diaz beats Silva. I would bet virtually anything on it.

Anderson has the better standup, size, speed and reach to beat Nick. Also, Nick punches in volume but he's not fast by any means and Anderson makes slower fighters pay pretty dearly. The only reason that this fight generates any sort of competitiveness is based on Anderson's layoff and mentality after a broken leg. Pre-leg-break, this would have been like 20-1 odds in Anderson's favor.

Let's say even if by some miracle Nick does get past Anderson, he will get fast tracked to a title shot against Weidman who is probably Nick's biggest kryptonite in the whole UFC roster.

I said this once. Hendo vs Shields. I lost that one.

It's going to be a fun one to watch though.
Yes, and he doesn't seem to understand. I saw an interview where Nick said that Weidman beat him with pure boxing alone... Diaz is in for a shock.

I like Nick's chances if it can somehow get to the ground.

Lets just hope that they actually make it to the fight instead of fucking up a knee, or cleaning a gun or something.

So is it considered a biotch move to kick the leg or not?

I think the match up is great. I don't see either guy taking the other down. Its going to be a nice stand up fight with some showboating and some trash talk.

After Silva destroys Diaz we will hear how he's still one of the best p4p fighters in the world and how he deserves a title shot.

Style wise, its a fun fight but all the extra bullshit it will bring kills my interest.
