Some people don't need guns to defend themselves or their family.

    Fight with ya hands, Craig.

    I'm 5foot 8inches tall. I weight a solid 110. I don't want to grapple a 200lbs guy coming through my front door wielding a knife or pistol....

move one's bowels to a chicken coop. Kill chickens and pick up feathers. They blow the whistle on for 10 ea on forums. Also bury the bones you find.

    I haven't weighed 110lbs since I was about 8 years old.

I was 200 pounds at 12 years old. Not really fat, just thick. I grew into my frame over time. Kids are assholes

200lbs at 12 is pretty impressive, I weigh that now and I'm 27.

I'm 6 foot, 300 pounds, and can defend myself physically against the average guy. I have a knife on me at all times, many guns at home, and I'm in the process of getting my concealed carry permit. You can never be too protected. I enjoy the piece of mind that my loved ones and I are safe, against many threats, when I'm around, and that I can make a difference in a bad situation. God bless America, and the great people who have fought for those rights. It sure would be terrible to live in a place where you are helpless in terrible situations. Some of us are proud of our rights, and think that those who mock them, are just as douchey as they think we are.

I'll still try to shoot you if you break into my house. Lol
I've literally weighed the same since I was a freshman in high school. I'm 31 now...
I also absolutely believe it's a persons right to own a gun for self/home defense. It's silly to me that people think outlawing guns is a solution. Just because they are outlawed doesn't mean they'll disappear, and I doubt someone breaking into your house is very worried about the legal nature of things on their person... Not to mention there are plenty of objects a determined person can use to maim or murder. A knife, a hammer, a chainsaw, a tire iron, a large wrench, an ice pick, their motor vehicle, a bottle full of gasoline and set on fire, my 2007 ps3, a curtain rod, a pen, their fists... A toaster... Various sporting devices... A novelty replica of gandalf's sword... The list goes on...

I guess opinions on gun laws will be different depending where you have grown up, I can't imagine many things worse than if we had US gun laws in the UK. Being armed to the teeth will give some people peace of mind, I get my peace of mind knowing I won't get shot at if I go to school or go watch the latest Batman movie.

I'm still intrigued by the UFC insurance policy, does Riggs get paid out for missing his fight because he shot himself?
