I'm not sure what you are saying, but when phrased as above, it means "including nut not limited to" which means it applies.

You may have been saying that but I couldn't tell.

He's already dishonestly earned a living in two different professions and squirmed his way out of any significant consequences in both cases by turning rat. Your empathy is wasted.

He has been given numerous chances to earn a living and Sonnen fucked it up.

Sonnen, out of anyone, cant complain about being screwed around. Sonnen screwed around his opponents honest attempt to earn a living through cheating them and screwed around the victims of his mortgage scam when he attempted to fraud them of their hard earned money.

I wonder if the commission is just pissed because they came off looking like clowns after Sonnen's hearing? Also, what will Sonnen & the NSAC's working relationship be after all this? Considering he is now working with them to inform them about the ways of a cheater.

Yup, I was. Sonnen's thing is limited to just grappling. I don't think the commission has grounds according to that third section that was posted. The combat has to be a combination of different martial art disciplines not being limited to just one of the mentioned disciplines.

keep going after the retired MMA fighter - grant current MMA fighter a license to fight for a title shot. Sounds about right from the NAC

A retired MMA fighter aka multiple time offender who most recently caught with 4 different banned substances in his system. And we all know Sonnen would not be retired if he didnt get caught cheating.

And Sonnen is much different from Vitor.

A fighter got popped for slightly elevated testosterone levels when doing a voluntary test while not licensed to fight anyone.

    Or

A licensed fighter who got caught while scheduled and contracted for a fight - 4 different banned substances in his system.

The NAC had their chance to go after Sonnen. This reeks of desperation.

Chael Sonnen opens up on suspension: 'I tried to game the system'
    http://www.mmafighting.com/2014/8/13...ame-the-system
"I didn't think I'd be tested for another 44 days," Sonnen said of the random, pre-fight drug tests for which he was caught. "I tried to game the system.

"I was hit on a surprise test that was 44 days before a fight," Sonnen continued. "Generally in our business we're tested fight night, so whatever it is you're doing or you're not doing, you gotta show up clean on fight day. When I talk about being dirty, I'm not talking about steroids or illegal drugs. I gotta make this distinction, if you ever failed a drug test, you are automatically taking something illegal and they were steroids, that's just the way it works in people's minds. Well, first off, none of them were illegal, and none of them were steroids, but I never offered a defense. I turned in my prescriptions. I got this from the doctor, this was valid stuff, but, these are still against the rules, I knew it. "

At the end of the day, Sonnen knew that what we was doing was cheating, and said what athletes who have been busted have stated: That the drugs worked.

"I'm a grown man," Sonnen said. "I knew what I was doing I thought I could have my cake and eat it too. I can take this, I can feel great, they make me feel good, and that's one of the problems I have. They go ‘these are performance enhancers.' I go, 'guys, why else am I taking it?' I'm showing up to the doctors saying doc 'do you have anything to make me feel worse?'"

When asked what advice Sonnen - who also lost his job as a FOX Sports UFC analyst in the fallout to the suspensions - would give to others in his position, Sonnen had a simple message.

"Things change pretty quickly," Sonnen said. "People are forgiving when you're honest. ... If I could ever advise someone who is in my shoes, just come clean. Come as clean as you can, as quickly as you can. Then let the people decide."

Chael Sonnen on phone call from WWE exec, Metamoris/NAC, and Olympic 'fantasies'
    http://www.mmafighting.com/2014/8/13...is-nac-olympic
"I got a call about two days before I was suspended," Sonnen said on the "Talk is Jericho" podcast. "A WWE exec calls me up, and he said, ‘We read what you're going through, we're not interested.' So I'm thinking, ‘why did you call me?' He said ‘If you were 24 years old, you'd be making a whole jackpot full of money ... but we think [rival wrestling promotion] TNA is going to be calling you and if they do, we want back in the game.' So I was like, OK, now at least I get we're you're coming from."

The ultimate point for Sonnen is that there are still potential opportunities in the life of a suspended fighter. For one, there was Metamoris 4 last weekend in Los Angeles, when Sonnen competed against decorated jiu-jitsu player Andre Galvao. But not before a period of back-and-forth with the Nevada Athletic Commission about whether doing so would violate the terms of his two-year suspension.

Sonnen gave his side of the story on the podcast.

"I had gotten a letter from the commission which said ‘hey, we heard you were fighting next week. You're not allowed to do that,'" Sonnen said. "And so I just let them know, you heard wrong, I'm getting involved in an event we're going to do some grappling, and if you have a problem with that, let me know, we won't do it.

"We never heard back from them," Sonnen continued. "We think they just had some bad info, they heard we were fighting. They're not totally wrong there. [Some people], particularly Brazilians, will call it a fight. I come from a wrestling background, I call it a match. If Brazilians see it they'll call it a fight. This was promoted by some guys from Brazil, and they do use that word sometimes, so the commission got some info, they acted on that."

Sonnen admitted to one more ambition while he's on the sidelines, one he doesn't deny is farfetched: A run at making the U.S. Olympic wrestling team.

"I've got fantasies of trying to make an Olympic team, I tried back in 2000 and didn't make it. I'm not going to make it in 2016. But I think that it would give me a good reason to set a goal, a good reason to stay in shape, and those are my friends, that's how I socialize with people."
