She might be the next big draw, but that's only because they have a gap after GSP and Silva stepped away. I'm not sure she's shown she's a better draw than Nick Diaz at this point, who wasn't the top of the top a couple of years ago.
I think Rousey is much less interesting than she's marketed and fans know it. When she's outside the fight game, she's not particularly charismatic. When she's in the fight game, she doesn't do much that either endears her to or riles up casual fans. That's the difference, where people like Sonnen and Mayweather have personalities and traits that transcend the event whether it's by jokes, money bragging, whatever.
"My client Rhonda Rousey will arouse everyone's attention and surpass the buy rates of ever known MM A fighter in UFC history. All she does is Eat, Sleep, Break Arms and repeat."
Speaking of Paul, Jon Jones said he sought out Paul's help to help Jon with his speaking.
There are many paths to freedom, not all are peaceful
It's not news. It's ridiculous to claim that she is a bigger draw than the men's ww, mw, lhw, and hw title holders.
"He's got big balls. I like that." -Josh Koschek on Frank Trigg's balls.
If you truly believe Rousey is the highest draw, the question you need to ask yourself is "how many ppv's have I purchased just because of Rhonda?"
Hendricks/Lawler drew 300,000 buys
Cain/BigFoot II drew 380,000
Cain/JDS III drew 330,000
Jones/Tex did 350,000
Jones/Goose did 310,000
Silva/Weidman II did over a million
Weidman/Machida is rumored to have done around 500,000
I'd say for the most part Rousey is on par or better than the other champions in the UFC.
