Bellator MMA’s return to Iowa next month will feature a pair of the state’s native sons in the main event.

Iowans Josh Neer (36-13-1 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) and Paul Bradley (21-6 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) will meet in the Bellator 129 main event, sources with knowledge of the fight booking on Monday told MMAjunkie. The sources spoke on condition of anonymity because the fight has not yet been announced by Bellator.

In addition, the co-main event is expected to be a heavyweight fight between Houston Alexander (16-10 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) and James Thompson (20-14 MMA, 1-0 BMMA)

Bellator 129 will take place Oct. 17 at Mid-American Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The main card will air on Spike TV following prelims on Spike.com.

Hell, I didn't even know Houston Alexander was still fighting.

Past 1.5 years this shit show of an org has lost all appeal to me.
I really believe that people like Bill Murray or John Belushi are just as great and just as valid as Robert De Niro or Al Pacino. And I don't think you can say One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is a better movie than Animal House (1978); they're different genres. I think they're both examples of great craftsmanship.
