What is the point for giving Hughes crap over having fought 50 times? There are plenty of fighters with 50+ fights.. it isn't a foreign concept.
Some guys fight 5 times a year (Huerta just did it) to pay the bills. Hughes did that when he was younger.

Bruce Lee was not out of line, he is bar none the best conditioned person/fighter to ever live on the planet. (Can you bicep curl 80lbs with reps?)

My comment about the republic-- it is written by Plato if you did not know and was in response to the person who had the pagan saying by Plato.

As far As Mac Danzig is concerned he signed a contract for winning at 170lbs, honor your contract, fight at 170lbs or fight heavier competition.

people have only responded mostly to my threads and not topics. Most people here respond to the topics not the threads. The site is weird because you have to respect others yet you can still reply to the threads even though it is the topic you really should only be responding to.

When the thread is about fighters mentioning Bruce Lee is pointless being that he was an actor not an MMA combatant. Also being able to curl 80 pounds is pretty much meaningless in terms of conditioning. There are plenty of powerlifters who can throw around 80 pounds like it is nothing but would be winded walking up the steps.

Why would you put all of your political views in a post if it is not about the topic? In random MMA threads should I being able to type "Chuck can beat Tito" for my posts even if the topic is about something else?

Why would the UFC waste fights for him at 170 when he will do better at 155? and why would they put him up against even large opponents

This is a discussion forum. People discuss things. That requires responding to each others post. If everyone just responded to topics then they would be nothing more than polls.


You need to read more topics here and get a better understanding of how this forum works if you wich to continue posting here.

Not givng him anything like that, you are misunderstanding the comment. Any fighter should retire after 40 professional bouts. But I put it in with Hughes because he fought gsp. Matt Hughes has not had 40 professional bouts, that would mean he fought for the championship 40 times.

You can have a professional fight that is not for the title. Hughes has had 47 pro fights in the past 10years
