I've seen this a few times now.

I'm not talking about mods deleting threads (which I know happens with good reason on occasion), but individual posts just vanishing.

I've looked at the 'edit/delete' function but I can't see how it's possible to completely remove the post - anyone know how it's done?

I gave everyone the ability to edit or delete their own posts so maybe that's what you've been seeing.
