I'm new to the site so hello to everyone. question on the avatars. i can find some pretty bad ass looking pics but they are all to large. im finding it hard to find something cool and still fit in the 175 x 175 guide lines. any suggestions on where i can find some good pics with out having to use an image re-sizer?

The two simplest things are you can upload the picture to photobucket for free and then it has an automatic image resizer, The other choice is to use google image search but use the thumbnails that the search results give you (they are generally just about the right size)

I used to use Yahoo! image search for the simple reason that they post the image size below the pic. Just make sure its w/in the size parameters and you'll be good. Photobucket by far is the easiest and if you dont like that try imageshack.com.
