sig .gifs or pics?

I was told how to get around the restrictions of the file size, but it does not seem to be working. Can anyone tell me what could possibly be going wrong?

You are trying to break the rules maybe? Why do you need to get around the restrictions? They are there for a reason, and they seem fine for everyone else.

I might be saying it wrong. By "get around the size restrictions" I mean I learned how to resize photos. But it still says "invalid file". That is my question. I am not very good with computers and that is why I ask. If nothing can be done that's fine I'll stick with the one I have.

you have to host the photo somewhere, like photobucket and use the image code from photobucket for that pic

Microsoft has a free image resizer for XP on their Power Toys page that you can download and install for free. It adds it to your right-click menu so you can pick standard sizes or select "custom" and make your copy of your original pic whatever size you want. It won't allow you to distort or screw up the looks of the pic because it automatically corrects itself to keep your pic's aspect ratio. (Which is a fancy way of saying it retains your pic's width and height ratio so your copy doesn't look like crap.)

You can get it from here: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe
