News mods selected

Thanks to everyone to gave their input in the mod suggestion thread. The new moderators are Ubermensch, Mac and Rivethead. Additionally, Donfrye has been elevated to full moderator.

As was expected with such a large and mature forum, we ended up with a lot more worthy candidates than available slots. As time goes on we will evaluate how things are going and adjust accordingly; most likely there will be more opportunities for potential mods or deputy mods to be added. So I hope the users who submitted their candidancy and were not selected this time aren't discouraged. Being a mod is nice, but every user can contribute to the forum simply by upholding the standards we've set, contributing to discussions and welcoming new members into the fold. And should you see anything like spam or posts in clear violation of the rules and common decency, you can report it to the mods by using the flag icon in the upper right corner of every post.

Anyway, congratulations to the new mods and thanks to all for their cooperation in helping us come to a decision

It is very important that those who did put their name in that know that this was a hard pick.

And as smoogy said, we are going to need Deputies sooner or later. The only reason we don't have any right now is because of how hard the decision process was becoming.

And to add to what Smoogy said, report posts if you see something wrong, it lets us know where certain posters stand. Don't go flagging every little thing you see, but report it if you see something worth reporting.
