mmanews.com infected with virus?
 

i wsa using my home pc and after visiting the mmanews main page i was infected with a program called spyware remover 2009.
my work pc almost exploded when i tried to get in.
any one else noticed this?

Yes, actually I did, i just stop going to mmanews.com.

I think that is something they need to look in, whether its now, or in the future.

I get a malware warning when using my mac.

i'm avoiding that page like the plague but i'm a little worried about coming to the forum now

I am using firefox with adblocker and nothing happens when I load it up. I don't even use any active antivirus, just windows defender. My advice would be to get the firefox + ABP combo

the past couple times i came to the page i'd get a warning from my virus checker popping up...i just click on deny access and it seems to work fine

that was the first thing i did, swith to firefox but it was laready to late. through internet explorer i was already infected and this bastard of a program would not allow me to google any websites containg information on how to remove the software.

for anyone that has been infected you will need to download combofix and run it on your pc.
you will need to use firefox or an alternitve browser

What are the symptoms of the virus? Cause I've been the MMANEWs.com site a couple of times and haven't noticed anything yet.
