Avatar problems
 

I'm trying to upload a new avatar and not having any success. The file is 175x175 and well under the 195.3Kb limit.

I tried linking to the file on my site...

and get this....
If I try to upload it to the site, I get this...
Any help/suggestions?

how many kb does ur gadget can upload.check it out.

Looks to me like they've moved servers (explains the downtime) (apache or whatever user it's using doesn't have write perms to the /tmp dir)

I say that because it makes sense as to why the forum was down then this which is pretty indicative of a server move. But it's of course just a guess.

type in google.. shrink pic.. i think it has the website to shrink the size of your pic..

as he stated, it's not the size.

just for kicks i saved my avatar, renamed it, and tried to upload it, and get the same error.

It's a permissions issue on the server
