Why do most only post links to stories written by others......?

I am just noticing in the "General MMA" forum, 99% of the time, when you click on a new thread, all it is is a link to a story written by someone else on another site, or the actual story itself just copied and pasted in the thread.

Personally, I like to read something original by a poster. What are your thoughts?

I agree, but most of the time when a someone takes the time to do that the op gets reemed for bad grammar or gets called every name in the book by posters who disagree. The conversation is typically less than civil so what is the point in taking the time to start a well thought out thread for a topic?

Just my opinion of why you dont see much of that on this particular forum.
