get greasemonkey and ab block plus add ons for firefox and you'll be good with any site i have no pop ups anywhere anymore or redirects

Michael, try checking your preferences on Firefox ("Tools" then "Options"). Also go to their main site and look for enhancements i.e. "Adblock Plus" download and install.
