Matt Serra: not what I was expecting

Maybe it's me but Serra came off kind of like a dick..Hughes had his number and seemed to play hois cards well in the 1 st ep. Serra' streatment of his boy Joey was kind of brutal..almost like he is too obsessed with beating Hughes.

That and he sounds like Bea Arthur in the corner.."Breathing the whole time...work that D... Been there before..."

I'm from NJ but man..his voice is like nails on a chalkboard.

ive never liked serra, i dun undersatnd y ppl did.... cuz he spoke his mind, sure its ok to speak ur mind but hes just flat out annoying and isnt the slightest bit humble and now that hughes is dun talking krap, he cant stop talking shit, he just talks outta his ass. it tends to be annoying

he is an annoying little fucker...but he seems pretty humble to me? he gives credit where credit is due for the most part...he did for gsp at least...im sure if asked a in an interview how he thought he matched up with hughes, he would give hughes some credit. i dont think he would say "oh hes a bumb and im going to beat his ass" or somethin of that nature. he might say the latter, but after he gives hughes some credit

Its important to focus on not only what people do, but why they do it. Actions and words can immediately be misinterpreted without knowing the reason behind it. It is only when you understand both what has been said and the reasoning do you truly start to understand the personality of the person.

This season is most interesting to me from a psychological standpoint more than any.

It isn't you.. Serra DID come off as a dick and a hypocrit (as I stated in another thread, he did exactly what he accused Hughes of doing, to his friend no less). I am glad Serra is showing his true colors.. and doing it with flying colors so far as next episode it looks like he wants someone kicked off the show.

I hear you. I am from NJ too and I hear LI accents once in a while. But Matt Serra's is just unbearable

Serra is a real cock knocker for sure!!! Can't stand him, he accuses Hughes, who I personally think is a stand up guy, of being a dick and having an ego, calling hughes the Jock who gave the nerds a weggie, etc... Serra is the TRUTH! Matt Hughes IS a dick and walks around like he is superior to everyone, you can see it in his tone of voice, mannerisms and his commentary. Serra is a very outspoken dude, but he speaks how he feels, even if you disagree with him and his viewpoints, HOW can you not respect that?

I'd rather someone talk shit about me TO MY FACE, rather than smile in my face and talk shit behind my back. Serra is a man's Man, Bubba the Love Sponge even said that.
