Wow that poke to the eye had way to much to do in there... what a shame really, I can't describe how much I hate to see this guy get into the finals like that.
And fucking Hughes says the eye poke had nothing to do with it!! OMG terrible

If he had poked him on the left side then maybe not, but he got him in the right eye and finished it with a right. George even fought with the eye closed as I mentioned.
I took a thumb to the eye once. I couldn't see clearly for about 5 minutes. It's all haze and pain. Luckily it was only a Muay Thai sparring session, if not I would've gotten raped.
Joke is right, he should've taken more time. I call it double fault.
