Tommy was looking better than George at that point though. Clearly the eyepoke wasnt irrelevent, but its not the whole story. I think that real story is that George went in way overconfident. He seemed really arrogant through the whole show, especially considering that he fought really poor opponents on the show.

Tommy was the clear aggressor and I saw the advantage was going to him. Unfortunate for George about the eye poke as that did play a factor. Hell I think we all saw that eye poke coming (not intentionally of course) but a win is a win.

i knew tommy was going to win the fight.
when they said a brutal ko and it didnt happen in the mac fight, i knew tommy was going to win.
i just took 1 look at their jaws and power and realized theres no way that george is knocking out tommy. tommy had more power and george looked like he had a much smaller jaw.

Predicting only Hughes' fighters in the finals isn't that much of a prediction either, there are three possibilities:
1. two Hughes fighters
2. two Serra fighters
3. one Serra fighter, one Hughes fighter
Just fucking with you dork.

Yeah I thought it'd be Mac v Barrera. Once Dan lost I figured George would make it.
Either way it's the same. Mac vs. a Team Hughes wrestling meat head.

well if u look at it it tommy would be 12-1 if u included his ultimate fighter fights. thats a pretty damn good start to a mma career. maybe he is for real, especailyl if he works his standup more, and subs.

Personally from the beginning of the season I predicted Mac vs George but that was when they didnt show Tommy during the whole show until his first damn fight so im the winner by unfairness.
Truly though, yeah George got poked and it had something to do with it, but he was gettin outstriked by that point anyways. I wish George woulda won and it was sickening to see him layin there eyes in the back of his head, and wake up defending against everyone standin over him. I gotta admit tho I dont think I've looked forward to a finale this much before since Griffin Bonnar, and even then I didnt think that fight would be the war it became. I dont think theres been a good finale ever since, I mean Diego Florian was a waste, Rashad Imes not very good, Joe Cummo alright but wasnt really anticipating it, u get my drift.
