Nah, just kidding (or am I?) |
good question. |
Ummm... Blake Bowman is not a serious or talented fighter in any way. I doubt that he will be ever fighting in the UFC again. Plus he had that knee blowout; he may not have been recovered soon enough to train even if they had offered him a fight. PS, was the starter of this thread actually concerned about seeing Blake Bowman on the card this weekend? Just curious... |
From what I've read, Blake is due to have ACL surgery, and won't be able to fight till sometime in 2008. |
You mean he hasn't had the surgery yet, what is he waiting for? TUF got done taping back in July, if he was serious about fighting he would've already had the surgery so he would be ready to return to fighting sooner. It's not like he has to pay for the surgery, since the injury happened in the octagon UFC is obligated to pay for it. |

I hope Blake comes back and in his first fight, fights war machine and knocks war machine out. War machine will be counting the 50k he thinks he is gonna get and Blake knees him or punches him once and Blake gets the 50 grand. I think i might be the only who wants to see Blake do good just because everyone thinks he is a lanky useless fighter. and in a rematch i could see Blake beating Hightower too, especially if Hightower gets his sick hair cut back the way it was at the start of the show. |

Bowman was let out of his UFC contract - probably in order to establish a pro contract. Although they did keep Dan Barrera who has no pro fights. I think Bowman's a funny, likable guy. And he trains out of a great camp, ATT, so he might have a decent career ahead of him. |
