Lyoto Machida and Anderson Silva at the TUF, To Help The Rodrigo Minotauro Team

Quote:

Rodrigo Minotauro team at the reality show The Ultimate Fighter won two gorgeous backings to face Frank Mir team. Big Nog will have the help of the UFC champion and best world fighter pound for pound Anderson Silva and from Lyoto Machida that had a great performance against Tito Ortiz at the UFC 84. Anderson and Lyoto are already at the TUF house to help the Rodrigo Minotauro team training.
TATAME

This is not good for Camp Mir.

Do you guys think the UFC will tap into the young brazilian talent pool and have a sort of USA vs Brazil TUF? Ive only heard Nog speak any significant amount of English so I thought it might be hard for them to teach american fighters. Thoughts?

The mission of the Brazillan fighters in the UFC...are to open the doors for the new upcoming brazillian fighters who want to fight in the UFC, or even in any MMA Promotions in America so i think this is the one...as for Rodrigo, yea he can speak English well...althought he has a Portugese accent, but he is good.

Yeah Nog speaks very good English. It is A.Silva who has trouble. Plus when he does talk in English he kinda squeels.

man what I wouldn't give to be on that team

Lyoto's english isn't bad, he has trouble putting sentences together. Anderson's is horrible and the Nog brothers are pretty much fluent.

Any word on Rogerio?

ok so i would love to see a Brasil vs USA Ultimate Fighter... it would rule as a lot of fighters in the UFC are from Brasil and we already got 2 Brasilian champs and soon 2 more with Alves and Lyoto/Shogun/Wand. so it would be really cool to see that happen. it would sorta be like Jiu Jitsu vs Wrestler and Street Fighters vs Brawlers in a way.. pretty cool idea. i would back that up 100%. It would be fun as hell to see them at the house because a lot of us brasilians are hot headed.. so if you give them booze than its on. Cuz i'll tell u the truth, a lot of brasilians dislike americans as they think they are too cold, stuck up and think they all think like Prez Bush so it would be fun to see the 2 clash together.
But i disagree with you Nog lived in the US for a long time and his english is pretty good and just about fluent, of course he has an accent but i think a lot of us Brasilian have an accent still.
Damn Team Nog is gonna ram through Mir.. Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing and Judo.. damn cant go wrong with that.. if those fighters dedicate themselves during the trainings than they gonna be one hell of fighters and well rounded.

Why? Nog has better everything and has brought in staff who is well rounded, and been there and done that. Mir has shit cardio, bad standup and wrestling, and Nog has given Black Belts to guys with better BJJ guys then him.

I'm assuming you don't want to deal with the slight Language Barrier? Can't think of any other reason to be on Mir's team over Nog's. Who has Mir ever trained?
