The UFC does not need ANY more lay and pray fighters! The fans will boo that shit everytime! And for good reason, it's horrible!
Heh... Billy Idol lip!

I knew I'd seen that somewhere before. Good call.

Its pretty obvious to me that UFC is going to give the TUF winner and Jesse couple of easy fights and build up a so called, "the real TUF finale".
I just saw the episode and I must say Jesse deserved to get kicked out. But I wonder if they would have kicked out CB if he did it. But in any case, it seems like CB will be marketed a lot more than Amir no matter what happens in the finale.

I do agree, you can see that Dana really wants to hand that contract to CB.

As far as CB/Amir....CB butcherd Amir up until 2 min in the last round, I wouldn't want to give a $100,000 contract out to someone who just got wooped like that then got lucky by getting an Armbar on a tired, out of gas foe. CB needs to watch that... I say without a dout CB easilly takes the finals, I really don't see him making the same mistake.

Amir reminds me of Nate Diaz, every fight he's getting his ass wooped then somehow in the end lucks it out! Not really the dominant fighter I want to see win the show.

I had the Amir/CB fight much closer than that...I don't think Amir was ever hurt or lost composure...where Dolloway clearly was rocked several times and needed to clinch to recover. I felt it was a matter of time once he gassed, nothing "lucky" about it.

I'm not sure how cardio-less lay and pray can be considered dominant in CB's case...or were you talking about how he barely edged Credeur [a BJJ guy, not a striker] standing? Or was it takedowns that didn't go anywhere?
