A new outlook on the Jesse Taylor fiasco

I think he messed up bad and deserved to lose his spot in the finale... But his punishment has taken affect so why not give the guy the bennifit of the doubt and let him clear his head for a while and give him another shot. Like he said he's human........ I hope this will be a good story in a couple of years and he'll be moving up the ranks in the mw division.

That's what they're (the UFC) doing... and that what most people here agree with.

EXCEPT ME... but only when it comes to thinking he's moving up that MW ladder...

Nuh-uh... He'll be hanging with Tommy in no time...

Wow I am agreeing with Ninjastix Armageddon is coming I see the Fourth Horseman right before my eyes. JT will be nothing he is a big really poor mans Sean Sherk.

His actions were very Leben-esque but worse as he committed them in public, against outsiders and other property.

He seems as dumb as toast to begin with, and also has a poor attitude.

He can get another chance, but I doubt he'll be able to accomplish anything with it.

I think they should put him on the opener of the finale as punishment, but still let him fight. He could use this as a stepping stone to fight the winner of CB and Amir and gain him some more fame, and maybe a little bit of credibility, as much as you can give a TUF alumnus.

With that being said, I do think that CB vs Amir is going to be a letdown. CB's style isn't all there, so I hope Amir, the more exciting of the two, can take it home again.

I think he should have to fight Anderson Silva as punishment.

That's exactly the way I see it too. This also makes it 3 crimes he's broke.

It''s pretty clear to me that he'll still get a chance. Dana already eluded to that. Though I highly doubt JT was bright enough to pick it up I'm sure someone will fill him in.

I also think he could be a great fighter. You don't have to be superior in linguistics to be a fighter? Know what I mean? There are some might dumb people in the boxing world and I'm sure there are plenty in MMA. They're good at learning that, but are terrible in normal every day life.

Once this kid grows up he'll stop being so immature I'm betting. He's not like Nick Diaz who's got this HORRIBLE chip on his shoulder. It just seems like he's a dumb kid trying to appear smart. At least that's how I see it.

1st .... quit drinking. It seems like he is one of those guys that can't just have a few drinks and hang. Every time he drinks he has to get bombed. That's going to keep getting him in trouble.

2nd .... counseling. Realize your issues and learn ways to cope with them.

Not only did Jesse say online in interviews he'd be back, but I was in Vegas for the show and as I was leaving the Pearl, and a few of the fighters were outside interacting with fans, I saw Jesse Taylor there, taking a picture with a fan in a wheelchair, and he told the guy taking the picture he would be back.

I think he deserves to get at least one chance to fight in the UFC again. However, he should NOT be put in any headlining match. He should be put into a prelim, and if he performs well, THEN maybe he can work his way up.

you're probably not lying, and i doubt you'd have any reason too, but the fact that you pointed out he was helping a handicapped person just made me go "PR STUNT!". haha, don't know why.
