Default TUF 8 Episode 5 Rating

Quote:
MMAPayout.com has learned that The Ultimate Fighter Season 8 Episode 5 did a 1.1 household rating and 1.4 million viewers. After a series low .8, TUF recovered strongly doing a 1.4 on last week fueled by the antics of Junie Browning. The number for this week seems to have settled back into the 1.1-1.2 range that marked the first couple of episodes of the season.
Looks like drama fuels ratings. I guess it was a great idea for the UFC to put a years supply of liquor in the house.

I wonder how many people will tune in next week hoping to see Junie get his ass kicked. It's kind of sad that if you act like a douche you get people to notice you even though they may not like you they still tune in to see you. It makes me just want to stop watching just so I don't validate an idiot's like that's behavior.

He has issues but the production crew look for some fighters who have huge chips on their shoulders. Makes drama and drama sells... I prefer the fights

Look at Kimbo... he draws HUGE ratings and he's not even a good MMA fighter. Obviously drama and expectation fuels ratings and not good ol' fashion MMA fighting. It's a sad world.
