i like both coaches, but mir is coming of as a bit of a shit disturber, not sure if it is just to get under nogs skin, but draw a line, its one thing if he does it, but to encourage and goad his students to dis nog, not cool.

I agree that Nog has not gotten respect from Mir's team and I agree that is just amazing because he such a good guy and he is one of the best ever. But as far as Vinny goes... I think that was alot of editing to hype it and I think that Nog's team really "spruced" up what Vinny said. From the conversation that Vinny had with Mir, I don't think he disrespected him as bad as Nog's team acted like he did. I believe that once Nog looks at the tapes then he will be apologizing to Vinny. Nog's team really screwed him on that deal. I like Vinny and think he will be a good fighter. His standup is alright and his BJJ is amazing. I mean his opponent was the one running his mouth and talking all this crap and then he was scared to death in the cage.

That being said, I tuned in a little late last night. What exactly did Vinny say about him on last night's episode? I saw a quick clip of Mir and Vinny talking about Nog's style vs. Vinnys but don't remember hearing any real shit talk at that point.

What you saw is all that was shown to be said. If anything else was said, then it was not televised. Nog's team just went back, going by what Junie said, and told made the comments out to be much worse than they were. Nog has to believe what his team tells him, so he felt very disrespected. Now the question is, did Vinny say something that wasn't shown or did Junie "spruce" up Vinny's comments?

I agree that it was all Mir's fault. Vinny is just a kid basically and obviously impressionable. It was clear that Mir was leading him to say that. I loved the argument in Portuguese. It was so heated but much different than two Americans arguing and saying "fuck you", "no fuck you". If it didn't happen on a show Vinny woulda walked up to Primm and flying armbarred him.

but its probably because he is Brasilian like me. He got attitude and he backs it up.
The translation that they did on the show of Nog and him talking was way off.. Vinny was saying that those guys were all liars and liked to fucked each other in the ass and that he would never talk shit about Nogueira because he is the man and the champ, and he was like who the hell am i? look at my situation i'm a nobody, i'm battling my way just like you did one day to get to the top, i got nothing but respect for you.
I dont remember Vinny talking shit about Nog, i remember him saying that Nog's bjj was plain and that his was more wild. that was it..
But hell, those two are Brasilians. and knowing how we are thats what you get when you put 2 brasilians together when one is better at the other. and like vinny said, if it was in brasil, people would be getting their faces reconstructed about now.
