I would rather see Nog beat the shit out of Mir for the first 4 min. and 50 secs, then slap an Anaconda choke on him and make Mir tap.

As much as I hate Mir as a fighter for his arrogance, I love him as a commentator. His knowledge allows him to call things out as the fighter is setting it up and I love that.

After Nog is done with him, maybe he'll retire and take Goldberg's place next to Joe Rogan. They would make a great combo!

Yeah as much as I dislike Tito, I have no problem admitting that he was the best coach until Nog took over.

If I had to choose between the two I would take Nog though.

it's funny... the editing of the show makes it look like nog is just too much of a nice guy

first-time noggers watching the show have no idea what an animal he can be in the ring

Dana White would probably have looked good going head to head with Shamrock as a coach

Best Coach so Far = Chuck, dominated Randy as opposing coach who is supposed to be one of the best coaches in the sport.

I think Tito was the best coach so far, and it really elevated my opinion of him after the show.

As far as Mir and Nog? I think we've got the opposites attract syndrome here.

Mir is lazy about this, playing around and not taking it serious. Sucks for the team because they need direction to be the best they can be. Someone else already mentioned it, he's trying too hard to be their friend.

Nog is WAY over the top with drama. the shit about vinny was just stupid. Nog never even gave the guy a chance to explain what happened. He was completely one sided and just blew it out of proportion.

That all being said, I'd rather be on Nog's team a thousand times over Mir. Nog is training these guys and instilling the things they need to grow. He's working them AND guiding them. While Mir is fucking around.

Junie not making weight says alot about Mir as a coach. As a coach, who's training these guys every day...it's his responsibility to a certain extent (hell, if it takes him coming over to the house and making sure that his fighter isn't eating 5 steaks for dinner, than that's what it takes) to make sure sure these guys are dieting correctly and getting in the necessary cardio.

As far as Mir goes as a coach, like a previous poster has already said, you can't judge it based on what we see on TV.

As far as Mir goes as a fighter and a representative in the sport, I may be the only one here, but I like him. He has a great ground game, and like it or not, he was a HW Champ. I think he speaks well, and he carries himself well. Someone here mentioned that he is arrogant............I couldn't disagree more. I don't think he is at all arrogant. He's a straight shooter.

I hope he beats Nog. (I know it's a long shot, but that won't stop me from hoping).

I used to like Mir a lot more until I saw him on this personel level. Disrespecting any other top level fighter is bullshit and I would like to see Nog choke him.
Saying Mir isn't arrogant at all is a joke. He has been arrogant his whole career in the UFC and now I see he is a punk outside the ring. Carries himself like an arrogant prick.

One thing for sure is Mir was completely fooled by Kaplan. He really over estimated the guys's fighting skills and in turn lead him right in to an easy slaughter vs Nover. That was f***ing funny LOL
